Just recently, the Rochester Police Department and the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office have introduced a new webpage where any citizen can submit a non-emergency crime report online! (Of course, if you ever have an emergency, call 9-1-1)
Online Citizen Crime Reporting
For select types of crimes, you can fill out this online form, and based on the information you submit you may be contacted by an Officer/Deputy or Investigator. Hopefully this will allow people to more easily communicate information to the police and help them solve some of the ongoing issues in our neighborhoods.
A link to this citizen reporting website will be incorporated into the Rochester911 incident map, to allow anyone with information about crimes that have been committed to click a quick link and submit information to law enforcement.
